As our Social Media Specialist, your primary responsibility is to oversee all digital communications within every area of the department and business.
You will work closely with the marketing team to ensure that digital strategies are aligned with our brand vision to maximize impact.
Above all, you are a superb digital communicator with a love for the written word and a desire to share our mission. To top it off you can multitask like there’s no tomorrow and never bat an eye under pressure.
You have an outstanding ability to think strategically to identify and resolve problems. You have strong analytical, organizational, project management and time management skills with a willingness to learn new programs and software.
Manage and analyze social media strategy, channels and content calendars;
Manage influencer program including ongoing research and recruitment
Post, monitor and engage on social media channels daily (primarily Facebook & Instagram, grow LinkedIn, Twitter and YouTube);
Develop insights and produce regular analytics reports with optimization suggestions based on results;
Create, optimize and analyze paid advertisements on social media in support of sales and other campaigns;
Drive traffic to the company website by creating and promoting innovative content;
Utilize Mailchimp to generate and nurture potential leads through social media, email marketing, blogs and other digital marketing efforts.
Overall support to marketing department and duties as your manager sees fit.
Post-secondary diploma in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or relevant discipline;
Proven experience delivering innovative digital campaigns with results;
Solid understanding of digital analytics with the ability to generate, analyze and interpret data.
1-2 years of experience managing successful social media campaigns and solid understanding of social marketing.
1-2 years of experience working with Word Press, Google Sheets, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO platforms.
Experience preparing and editing content for online, publications, documents, social media, reports and communication materials for various audiences.
Experience with social ad platforms, specifically Facebook Business Manager, Instagram Ads.
